Becks

for short..

Welcome to my world where I get straight to the point. I empower those who left themselves behind when their career took over. I help women to REDINE THEIR LIMITS in order to take control of their life and business.

I’m a woman on a mission to create a crystal clear forever-roadmap for high-achieving individuals to become MORE OF THEM and therefore perform at their highest potential.

The end goal? To love your reflection on and off the dance floor whilst turning your passion into profit.

BUT WHY?..

Simply, I know what it feels like to let my business take over my health, both physically and mentally. I stopped taking care of myself until guess what? My career suffered too, and therefore also wealth.

Work takes over, life becomes so serious, we miss what freedom feels like, we don’t know what ‘letting go’ and feeling powerful is anymore, we get swamped by responsibility, we’re mindlessly busy being busy, but we forget just how pivotal our first love as little girl was…

“A hobby as an adult? Why would I waste my time?”

We forget how liberating a personal goal like dance could be for all areas of our life. What I mean by that is, your performance excels professionally (career), personally (emotions and spirit) and physically (dress size, immune system and mobility).

The answer I figured out through all of this time? The biggest investment I could make was in ME. And ‘me’ meant doing the thing I loved the most – dance. Not to be cheesy but it’s the black and white truth and I can’t hide from it anymore. Dance simply saved me. The priceless takeaways like incredibly unique friendships, lifelong independence, learning more about myself every day, challenging my mind, burning a tonne of calories without thinking about it, improving my skills as an adult (so rewarding), doing something purely for fun and selfishly for me. That’s what it really takes to ensure you LIVE the life you’re working hard at. I PROMISE you, the brick wall is coming closer in sight until you put you first.

DON’T UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF 5-YEAR-OLD-YOU. SHE HAS ALL THE ANSWERS YOU’RE LOOKING FOR IN A WORLD WHICH FEELS LIKE PAYING THE BILLS, DRINKING ALCOHOL TO ‘HAVE FUN’ AND ‘WORKING ON MY BUSINESS’ IS ALL THAT’S LEFT. YOU’VE GOT WAY MORE. YOU’VE GOT THIS.

As a body transformation and mindset coach for the last 10+ years, I cannot help but bring mindset mentoring into every aspect of my life. Those who knows me personally will all have heard me say, "when the mind is right first the rest will take care of itself".

High Performance Coach

04

I'm a solution-based kinda girl but the results start from within. I get so excited about setting goals, hitting targets, fulfilling personal missions, brain dump notebooks, road maps, time blocking, reaching your full potential, gaining unstoppable confidence, health = wealth.

Self Development Speaker

Self Development Speaker

05

In every school report there was a section that says "Beckie talks too much", so I'm taking that as a positive (always) and flipping my learnings in life, business, health, self development and more to the power of others. Not only that, I've been a performer since I was fresh out the womb so sharing on stage with large groups FUELS my passion that FILLS the cups of everyone in the room to simply 'do better'.

Model / Influencer

Model / Influencer

As much as these terms give me the 'ick', it's true. As well as being a full time entrepreneur, I love to get creative and fulfil a fashion loving, aesthetically pleasing, little girls dream as part of my life too. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Being the best version of you (ie. fulfilling all areas of your personal needs) allows you to be your best self in ALL areas of your life - professionally, personally and physically, so don't neglect the small stuff because you think 'it's a wast of time'. In fact it's the BEST use of your time.

My Journey

1996
-2024

1996

Fresh out the womb Mum and I were captured in the newspaper for being the first baby born in a particular section of Royal Berks Hospital (who even cares) but this was my media debut that said blue ticks are coming (don’t take me seriously).

1999

I was captured in the newspaper (again…) but this time dancing at my nursery. I didn’t even know this article existed until last week & wow… it all makes sense now!

2000

From the day I started primary school I was teaching kids how to dance in the playground and being a bossy boots choreographer for all my friends. I used to rap to Akon at break time (“smack that” was iconic, lord knows how I found that song at that age), but I’m grateful for these core memories, it means kids today don’t have to act so “oblivious” around me, cause it feels like just yesterday I was an 8 year old global rap star dance icon.

2001

Age 5 was the year I started everything and anything. I’d attend summer fairs and day be signed up to training gymnastics 6x per week, Kungfu 3x, ballet, tap, modern plus any sport the school would let me do – tag rugby, football, athletics (not bat and ball sports – not my expertise). PS I was raised by my Dad, so his busy work schedule was the thing that allowed me and favoured me into attending sports 5 hours a day Monday to Sunday!

2003

Big pivot age 7 I told my entire family (nan, uncle, dad etc) that I wanted to have my own business. I didn’t know what. None of them have businesses or gave me any insight, I just knew I wanted one. (Nana reminds me of this every week bless her, but she’s nearly 100 now so we’ll let her off)

2006

Become overall Kung Fu British champion, won 7 golds at this competition, and qualified for GB team I (again) had no idea how major this was for the rest of my life but cannot express how SIGNIFICANT doing a performance based sport was for my mental health, discipline, confidence, self worth, self belief, maturity, priorities etc. Being an international athlete at this age lead me to think I can do anything. Doing something I loved meant nothing else mattered. (Gratitude to my family)

2010

I dislocated my shoulder in my cheerleading era, ended up having 2 operations and in and out of a sling for near 4 years. Recovery was a drag, and that was the end of my career as an athlete. The next best thing had to be helping others do the same.

2012

Qualified as a certified personal trainer and registered my first official business, hit the gym floor full time working for a high end gym, a budget gym, Microsoft HQ employee gym, and then no gym at all.

2014

Handed in my notice after a pretty abrupt ending to my 1 year employment at Microsoft and never had a “job” ever again. This was the moment I went head first into hiring mentors, disagreeing with my parents about it, investing thousands of £ at such a young age and KNEW what I wanted so much I just ran with a crazy high risk mindset and ZERO fear… 18 year old me had some serious balls.

2015

After years of injury and being in the fitness industry, I (like many ex athletes) took to the stage in the “bikini” category of what we call “body building”. It was a crazy time where my whole entire purpose was built on how I looked, getting shredded and being judged on my appearance. What a lesson I soon learned. My story isn’t typically that I lost loads of weight and now I’m showing you how. My story is that I know how, and it can ruin you, so I’m gunna show you a better “how” instead.

2016

Stress took over, overwhelm became unmanageable and I went on to become a body transformation and mindset coach in my next qualification. I went from coaching only male athletes (runners, footballers etc), to coaching only women who wanted better for themselves from the inside-out. the shift was closer to home than I realised here…

2018

THE ARMY DANCE COMPANY started. It’s created a home for myself & so many. We are proud to say we have impacted thousands of lives, we take support and mental health extremely seriously whilst putting our dancers on the largest stages & cannot wait to tell you what’s next. I had no idea how reliable dance would be for me, or how life changing things were about to be.

2019

Landed my first international billboard with JD sports in Asia, Europe etc and danced in their worldwide Christmas TV advert. I didn’t appreciate this moment enough at the time cause I never took the time to do THIS (sit and be grateful) but it’s crazy looking back. I actually got burnt out, travelled the world for 9 months, nearly died a few times and got clear on my direction. I called this the best year of my life.

Also in 2019

Launched a high end sophisticated streetwear brand “DRIP CARTEL”, with motto “better on the ground”. Our goal was always quality over quantity, just like our ethos with people, places and purchases. Look down came and let’s just say my life changed. It taught me grit, strength, adaptability, pain, perseverance, patience, persistence. Drip today is a sister brand to THE ARMY DC, and provides the best clothing for dancers out there (limited of course).

2023

Launched my first ever podcast and retreat in Dubai with “project HERd” to improve the lives of those who want to excel, feel heard, get their on their story, use their unique narratives to work FOR them NOT against them, through the power of people and passion. Self development, dance, entrepreneurship and mindset shifts happen here.

Today

Moved to the UAE, building a life and business in Dubai doing what I absolutely love. I travel back and forth to choreograph for team UK, always working towards my mission in helping people through dance and self development. I launched THE ARMY DC DXB and project HERd retreat number 2. Teaching what I love for the positivity of others is a blessing. I’m proud to be invited on corporate public speaking panels with the freedom to be… not so corporate. So yep, that’s me. Here’s to changing more lives.
