Let’s just be real for a sec, everyone has the tendency to be negative at some point in their lives. It’s human nature. We all find ourselves complaining about the most unnecessary things, like the weather or how tired we are or how busy we are etc. Don’t get me wrong it’s ok to be negative now and then…BUT, if you get to the point where you are
But don’t worry, that’s what I’m here for!
So, if you are fed up of feeling negative and low all the time and you ready for a positivity kick up the a**, check out some of my tips to help you to stop feeling negative 24/7:
- SURROUND YOURSELF WITH RADIATORS
The people you spend the most time with will have a MASSIVE impact on your mood. So if you’re surrounding yourself with negativity, you’ll turn into negative nelly before you know it. If you feel people are bringing you down instead of making you feel good, spend more time with the ones who radiate positivity, and NOT the drains. Pretty harsh I know, but it’s ok to be a little selfish – ESPECIALLY if you feel your mood going downhill. - BE MINDFUL
If you feel yourself getting into a bad mood, force yourself NOT to be. Change what your doing, move to a different location, or have a quick word with yourself and turn that negative switch off ASAP. You CAN talk yourself out of a bad mood – that’s how I stay positive all the time! You probably don’t feel it’s possible, but the mind is a crazy powerful thing, trust me. - GET OUT THE HOUSE
Go for a walk, or head to the gym. Just get out the damn house! If you’re stuck in a house all day long, of course, you’re going to feel negativeaf ! So get up and get out! Or if you work in an office, once your home from work, go on a 20 minute walk to clear your head from the work stresses. That way, you’ll be able to switch off and relax WAYYY EASIER.
Remember that this negative feeling is completely temporary and that you are also IN CONTROL of every single emotion that you feel, so it’s time to hit that reset button, and follow my simple steps which will help get you out of that negative rut in no time!
